Hi friends!

Sorry (again!) for the lack of posts....I'm honestly having a hard time coming up with ideas of what to share with you all!

I'm brainstorming this weekend though and plan to start blogging regularly. Any ideas would be appreciated though!

Tomorrow we head off for a Cavanah Family Reunion at the Skamania Lodge in Skamania, Washington. The lodge has a lot of hiking trails, golf courses, biking and pools. I'm thinking Nan's and I will be hitting up the pool more often than not.

We leave bright and early tomorrow morning and plan to make some stop over's in Mt. St. Helen's and Vancouver. Nice little family road trip. :)

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

It's Friday!

Am I glad it's Friday or what?!

Hannah and I had a pretty relaxing week, but it's always nice when Noah is home to help out with our little munchkin.

We've been trying to get out and about a little more lately and enjoy our summer.

On Monday we had a relaxing day around our neighborhood; we played outside in the swing and even went on a long walk to the park in Hannah's new radio flyer wagon.

On Tuesday we met up with our Mommy group friends and had a blast playing outside in the gorgeous weather.

On Wednesday we packed ourselves up and spent a few hours at the pool with some of our favorite gals, Kortney and Presley. Hannah was loving it....but decided to throw herself a little tantrum right when I whipped out the camera. Typical. :)

Yesterday we laid low around the house because this Mama was exhausted. I can barely keep up with my active girl these days! We had Auntie Kristen over for a little bit. My favorite part of the day though was signing Hannah and myself up for swim lessons and music/dance class! Our music/dance class starts next Monday and swim lessons start in August. I am crazy excited for these! Aqua Tots and Boogy Woogie Baby here we come!

We don't have a whole lot planned for this weekend. Tonight we are headed out to our local public pool for Family Night...its a luau theme...it should be a good time. Otherwise we have a lot of plans that include relaxing, catching up on DVR shows and more relaxing. I might have to throw in a little bit of housework and laundry....I took a week long hiatus from laundry (it IS my least favorite chore of all time!) so I have a lot of catching up to do. I can't even believe how much laundry a family of 3 can generate.

Last but not least, I am thinking of one of my most favorite girls in the world, Kar Bear, as she has the most amazing Bacholorette Bash in California this weekend. I so wish I could be there, Kar! I am thinking of all you girls and can't wait to see the pictures of all the hilarious things you make our pretty bachelorette do! Have a blast and love you all!

New Mexico trip

Hi loves!

We are back and ready to get back into the swing of things...sorry for the lack of posts...but if you caught my last post, hopefully you won't be too mad. ;)

Anyways, New Mexico was a blast! I think my favorite part was just getting to see one of my best friends from college as a mother! It was fun to reminisce on our college days and the shenanigans we use to get into and compare them to our lives now. Everything is so different! But, we obviously wouldn't change it for the world.

We had a super low key week. Kiley and Allen live in a small mining town, with not much around so it was the perfect opportunity to just relax and let the girls play. We did take a few trips to venture out of the town; right across the border to Texas for a day of outlet shopping, over to Tucson, Arizona and then finally up to Santa Fe for Miss Amy's wedding.

In the interest in keeping this short and sweet here are some highlights of our week:

-going out to lunch with the girls and having an anonymous stranger pay for our meals because they loved that we were two ladies out to lunch with our daughters. Seriously. Cue the tears...this actually made me cry and was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
-driving across the border into Texas (my first time in Texas!)
-buying the girls matching outfits and having people ask if they were twins everywhere we went.
-taking the girls up to Tucson and taking Hannah swimming for the very first time (she was a little hesitant to say the least!)
-having my first taste of Chick Fil A!!!
-seeing Hannah and Parker hit it off....they kept giving each other kisses and hugs and literally walked around all weekend holding hands. Parker kept putting his hand on her back and guiding her around. At one point, Hannah laid her head on Parkers shoulder and Parker put his hand on her knee. At the wedding they walked around hand-in-hand all night and even danced together. It was too adorable.
-watching one of my VERY best friends in the whole world marry the man of her dreams and having the honor to stand next to her as Matron of Honor!
-and lastly....watching my sweet baby girl fall asleep on May 26th as an 11 month old and wake up the next morning as a big 1 year old TODDLER! Where does the time go?!

Short and sweet, right? Now enjoy a SERIOUS picture overload!

Have a great weekend, loves!
